New Students

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start time of your first class to leave time to fill out the Mosaic waiver and get to know where things are in the studio. We accept cash, credit and debit payments or you can pay online via credit card prior to arrival.

Class Passes

Class passes never expire and are valid from the date of purchase. These passes are non-transferable.

Class Booking

​All members in good standing are able to pre-register for classes. Class bookings can be made in advance of the scheduled class. It is important that you book your class in advance since some classes may be busier than others. Please check the latest updated schedule or download the MindBody app on your smartphone to book easily. Please arrive at least five minutes before class time as after that, reservations will be considered void and spaces may be offered to those at studio on first come basis.

Preparation Prior to Class

​We will provide everything you need for your practice including mats and props. If you like to use a towel, please bring your own. If you don’t have your own mat, we have a limited amount of mats available to use at no cost. Yoga is a barefoot practice and you will be most comfortable in active clothes. Yoga is best enjoyed on an empty stomach, so eat lightly or not at all for two to three hours before a class. Make sure to keep hydrated by drinking water both before and after class.

Class Policies

​Please arrive at least ten to 15 minutes before your class to prepare and inform the teacher of any injuries or health issues before class. This will help the instructor know how to adjust you or show you a modified pose if necessary. Children must be at least 11 years old to participate in classes that do not specify an age range.

Consent Cards

After signing in at the front desk, you will be given a card which will allow you to indicate whether or not you want adjustments. If you're interested in receiving physical adjustments, please flip the card to Yes, Please and if you're not interested, please flip the card to No, Thanks. Feel free to change your mind during the class. It is always your choice about whether or not to be touched in a class.

Phone Policy

Please leave your phones in change rooms instead of bringing them into the practice spaces. If there is a reason why you might need your phone (i.e. on-call medical professional), please have it on silent at all times and leave studio before engaging in a text or talk conversation.

Late Policy

All classes start on time. Once class starts, you will not be allowed entry until the teacher comes out after the opening centering period (usually about five to ten minutes after class start time). At that time, the teacher will come out and do a ‘last call’ bringing in anyone who has arrived after class start. After that point, no late entry will be permitted.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a class booking, please call the studio or use your MindBody Connect app on your smartphone to cancel at least 3 hours in advance to enable others to take your place. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your pass.

Refunds

Please understand and respect our refund and credit policy. For workshops and teacher trainings, full refund minus a $25 plus admin fee is available if cancelled 30 days prior to course start. A 50% refund minus a $25 plus admin fee is available if cancelled 14 days prior to course start. After that, no refunds are available as we make decisions about whether or not to run programs based on registration numbers.

Scent and Allergens

We are a scent-free studio to respect the needs of our community. Please refrain from using scented products before practicing. Please know that while we do our best to protect our students, we are not a nut-free zone and anyone with serious allergies should take appropriate precautions.

Respect

We abide by the ethics of yoga and believe each being is inherently dignified and valuable and is worthy of respect. We ask all our students to respect each other as well. We reserve the right to remove anyone who is engaging in discrimination, harassment, threatening language or any other violation of the yogic code of ethics and the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada.
