How to Book
We are no longer able to accept walk-ins or handle transactions in person. All class bookings and purchases must now be done online through MindBody Online ahead of class time. It is important that you book your class in advance as class sizes are restricted. Please check the latest updated schedule and consider downloading the MindBody app on your smartphone to book easily.
What to Bring
At this time, we are not providing shared mats or props. Please bring a mat as well as any props that you might want or rent props ahead of time on the MindBody app (see below). Bring your own filled water bottle. All movement practice at Mosaic are barefoot practices and you will be most comfortable in active clothes. Please come ready in the clothing that you want to wear for practice. Change rooms are not available at this time. We have private washrooms as well as coat hooks and cubbies where bags can be stored.
Mosaic Yoga strives to be active in expanding our knowledge as a collective and as individuals to deconstruct White-Body Supremacy, Capitalism and Colonialism on a personal and societal level. We ask all our students to respect each other and to commit to the terms of our Letter of Intent. We reserve the right to remove anyone who is engaging in discrimination, harassment, threatening language or any other violation of the Letter of Intent and the applicable laws of Ontario and Canada.
Our doors will open ten minutes before class begins. At that time, we ask you to sanitize your hands upon entry, observe physical distancing by using the floor markers as you come in and take off coats and shoes. We will check you in at the front desk using our own personal devices. You just have to let us know your name if we don’t know you yet! After checking in, head straight to the studio. Please enter the room and place your mat behind a Mosaic Yoga sticker. Make sure the sticker is in front of your mat and centred to ensure everyone remains the right distance apart.
Prop Storage and Rentals
All Mosaic members are able to store their personal props and mats at the studio in separated cubbies. If you do not have props, you can purchase props through the Mindbody app (they will be ready for you to pick up in studio) or rent prop bundles. The Yoga Bundle includes two blocks, one strap and a blanket. The Barre/Pilates Bundle includes two light weights, two heavy weights and a squishy ball. Your rented props will be stored at the studio and accessible only to you for one month.
We can lend studio bolsters to you if you bring two pillowcases that can be used to fully cover the bolster during use. If you are a member, you can store your pillowcases in studio. You are also welcome to bring your own bolster or pillow to use instead of the studio props. Members are able to store bolsters onsite. Bolsters are necessary for restorative and flow and restore classes.
Please cancel your reservation at least eight hours before the class time to avoid a late cancellation fee. This allows the space to be filled by another student. A late cancelation will result in the loss of the drop-in class fee for non-members and a late cancellation fee of $10 plus HST will apply to members. Please be considerate of the cost to the studio for late cancelling. We reserve the right to restrict access to pre-booking if late cancelling becomes a habit.
If a class is full, you can put your name on the waitlist so you will be notified if a spot opens up. Please make sure your settings in your MindBody account allow you to receive email or text notifications as you will be automatically entered into classes if a spot is open. If you do not attend, this will be considered a no-show and fees will apply.
Unless specifically indicated (sales, holiday specials), class passes do not expire and are valid from the date of purchase. These passes are non-transferable.
If possible, please leave your phones outside of studios instead of bringing them into the practice spaces. If there is a reason why you might need your phone (i.e. on-call medical professional) or you are worried about theft, please have it on silent at all times and leave studio before engaging in a text or talk conversation.
Students should arrive ten minutes before the start of class. All classes start on time and front doors will be locked once class begins. Once class starts, you will not be allowed entry to the studio.
Class passes and rental fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable. All merchandise bought on-site is non-refundable and non-returnable. For workshops and teacher trainings, full refund minus a $25 plus admin fee is available if cancelled 30 days prior to course start. A 50% refund minus a $25 plus admin fee is available if cancelled 14 days prior to course start. After that, no refunds are available as we make decisions about whether or not to run programs based on registration numbers. Deposits for workshops, teacher trainings and retreats are non-refundable.
