Yin yoga is a beautiful complement to a more dynamic movement practice. It works more specifically with the connective tissues and joints in the body and is a great way to increase range of motion and flexibility. As a result of the passive and meditative component of the practice, it helps to calm the mind and balance out a busy life. Yin yoga enhances our vitality and overall health.

We are living a very yang lifestyle so in this training, the idea is to infuse our life with a yin sensibility. There is so much to be gained from really embodying the basic principles of yin yoga – playing your edge, stillness and time. We are able to walk away with a deeper understanding of ourselves and the space needed to share this wisdom with others.

This training is for yoga teachers and serious practitioners alike as well as any body workers who are looking for a new edge to their offerings. Yin yoga could be just the thing you are looking for.

    • the philosophy behind yin yoga and where it came from.
