Our Commitments

  • We are all responsible for self-monitoring and doing our part to ensure the safety and well-being of others around us. If you are experiencing symptoms of illness of any kind, please do not come to the studio in person. We offer Zoom links for all our drop in classes!
  • We frequently clean the bathrooms, common spaces, and high-touch areas, and mop the floors of the studio with a hospital grade cleaner.
  • We have consent cards in each studio for you to use. Place the card on the ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ side for consent to hands on adjustments by our teachers.
  • Mosaic Yoga strives to be active in expanding our knowledge as a collective and as individuals to deconstruct White-Body Supremacy, Capitalism and Colonialism on a personal and societal level.

Mosaic Yoga FAQs

A: Email us at info@mosaicyoga.ca to end your membership. We need about seven days notice and remember, one final payment will be due. Your membership will be active for 30 days after that final payment comes out.

A: Email us at info@mosaicyoga.ca to pause your membership. We need about seven days notice and you can pause three separate times and up to 90 days cumulatively per membership year.

A: No! Your payment is always valid for 30 days of practice after it comes out. If you pause within that time, we just move your next payment date back so you never end up paying twice. Confused? I know…it’s hard to explain. Using real dates – let’s say your payment comes out on July 1st. You want to pause from July 15th to 30th for 15 days. Without the pause, your next payment would have come out around August 1st but after pausing, it won’t come out until August 16th.

A: At our Annex location, there is street parking both free and paid all around the studio. There is a Green P across the street as well that usually has free spots.

At Sterling, there is a paid parking lot underneath MOCA as well as some street parking around the studio. There is also paid parking behind the townhouses on Ruttan and some on Bloor between Sterling and Lansdowne.

A: Our Zoom links will be sent to your email about ten minutes before class begins. If you haven’t gotten a link, check your junk especially if it is your first time getting emails from us (and double especially if you use Yahoo or Hotmail). Still nothing? Email us at info@mosaicyoga.ca and we will send it out again to you!

A: Our regular single, five and ten class passes have no expiry dates. Promotional passes do though – so if you are buying a special pass, make sure you read the fine print!

A: Signing onto our waitlist for a drop-in class requires paying for a class that will be ‘held’ until one hour before the class. If you don’t get into the class, your pass will not be used and you can use it at a future time. If you sign up for a waitlist spot and you get in, that pass will be used up and/or you will be late canceled for a fee if you don’t attend. You will be notified one hour before the class start time if you get in. After that, no more waitlist attendees will be added as we want to give you the right amount of time to attend.

Signing onto our waitlist for a workshop requires paying for a class that will be ‘held’ until one hour before the class. If you don’t get into the workshop, your payment will not be used and we will refund you.

A: Yes, we have free mats to use at our studios on a first come, first served basis.

A: Sadly, our class packs can only be used by one person. They can’t be shared among friends or family at this time.

A: Yes, it’s true! It’s a weird quirk of the system that it won’t let you book past the date of your next payment but we can do a couple for you to ensure your spots are saved in busy upcoming classes if you email us at info@mosaicyoga.ca

A: Nope! We’ve got everything you will need for each class and the only reason to bring props is if you have special items that help your individual practice (e.g. mat towels or something you use to help you with an injury).

A: Our policy is no late-comers to any class.

A: No need! All our classes are barefoot.

A: Our Essentials level classes are ok for most beginners and if you really want to get deep into fundamentals, we have a Beginners class on Mondays at our Sterling location at 6pm. Our Pilates classes are a great place to start as well.

A: We don’t have lockers. If you want to take valuables into studio with you while you practice, just ask the teacher where the best place to put them is when you arrive in the studio room.
