20-Hour Yoga Nidra Teacher Training

with Taryn Diamond

Friday, February 21- Sunday, February 23, 2025

Over one weekend, Taryn offers a comprehensive introduction to yoga nidra.

Yoga boasts a wealth of subtle practices, the kind that surprise one with their efficacy and simplicity. This training invites participants into a relationship with one of yoga’s subtle gems: Yoga Nidra. Walk away with both the confidence and excitement to offer this practice to yourself, your family or your students. This program is about more than becoming a nidra teacher, this is about equipping you with the know-how to rest and relieve stress. Yoga nidra is an effective tool for new parents, caregivers, seasoned students and instructors alike. This program is one-of-a-kind and barrier-free: all bodies, all levels of experience (including none!) are welcomed.

Taryn is a certified Continuing Education Provider with the American Yoga Alliance. For those of you who have a 200 hour certification with the YA, you are able to count this course as continuing education credits.

The program will:

  • Ground the modalities of yoga nidra within the larger context of yoga philosophy;
  • Train you in teaching the art of yoga nidra, including leading in-person and online classes, best practices and script preparation;
  • Equip participants with the tools to walk away and teach a nidra class and enhance their asana classes with nidra practices;
  • Empower participants with stress-reduction tools including simple breath work and gentle movement.

Program requirements:

  • Practice yoga nidra at home (using my recordings) at least twice and send Taryn a brief note on your experience
  • Draft one stage of the practice with specific language and intention
  • Record one stage and send it to Taryn for feedback
  • Take home exam
  • Expect a minimum of 2 hours asynchronous study for homework & assignments
