Mosaic Outreach
Mosaic is proud to be raising funds and awareness for a different local charity or non-profit each month to connect the feeling of community within our studios to the larger community around us. Learn more about what these amazing organizations do, how you can help and donate to help them in their causes. And for an extra dose of community spirit, join us in all Karma led-practices on the schedule to raise money! All proceeds go the chosen monthly organization. Can’t wait to see you there!
Here is how you can participate each month
Karma Class
with New Mosaic Teacher Training Grads
Join our recent graduates from the 2024 and 2025 Teacher Training courses every Thursday at 6pm for a Karma class and every Saturday at 10am for an Outdoor park class! These classes are a chance for our grads to show you what they have learned in their time at Mosaic.
Join us for an exchange in energy, learning, and giving back. Your presence makes a difference!

This month..
In September, we are raising money for Parkdale Project Read!
Parkdale Project Read was founded by Dr. Rita Cox, a renowned storyteller, community activist, and former Head Librarian at the Parkdale library.
Parkdale Project Read (PPR) is a not-for-profit community literacy organization that offers free literacy services to adult learners in Parkdale, and was founded over 40 years by Parkdale librarian Dr. Rita Cox. We provide one-to-one tutoring and small group learning, supporting learners with reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.
PPR engages a learner-centred model. We are committed to supporting learners facing discrimination and chronic poverty with their literacy goals, promoting individual and community development and social justice.

In line with International Women’s Day, we donated to Sistering in March and you helped us raise $305

In May, we raised money for Panned Parenthood Toronto. We donated $105, and a lot of you donated more on your own as well!
In June, you helped us raise $80 for Ontario Clean Air Alliance.
In July, you helped us raise $225 for the George Chuvalo Neighbourhood Centre.
